Meaningful connections for people with disabilities
The Tavon Center program fosters a sense of purpose and belonging in young adults with disabilities through gardening, community involvement, and skills that can be transfered to an employment setting. At our site in Issaquah, Wash., program participants tend five acres of accessible gardens, care for animals, and sell produce and eggs at local farmers’ markets.
Auction October 23: Celebrate a Bountiful Harvest
It's right around the corner...the most enjoyable fundraising event you'll attend this year. No black ties here, this fun evening will be hosted by local radio personalities Marty Riemer and Jodi Brothers at the charming Pickering Barn in Issaquah. If you've never attended our auction, prepare to be amazed by incredible food, great auction items, and a warm, inclusive environment. If you're a veteran, bring along some friends--we're always working to expand our circle and get new people excited about our cause. We depend on the proceeds from the auction to keep our program running, so please save the date. Contact us if you'd like to receive an invitation.
